How did the Chinese artist Chu Teh-Chun die?

The Chinese artist Chu Teh-Chun passed away in 2014 at the age of 94.

In Asia, a string of exhibitions of the painter’s work was held throughout the 2000s: at the Shanghai Art Museum in 2005, in Tokyo at the Ueno Royal Museum in 2007, in Taipei at the National Museum of History in 2008, and in Beijing at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) in 2010 on the occasion of the artist’s 90th birthday. A retrospective of the artist’s work was presented at the Pinacothèque gallery in Paris in 2013. Chu Teh-Chun’s last major project was a collaboration with the Manufacture de Sèvres between 2007 and 2009, through which he created 58 vases which were later exhibited at the Musée Guimet in Paris from 2009 to 2011.
