Marie Raymond died in Paris in 1989 at the age of 81.
The Pascal de Sarthe Gallery in San Francisco presented a solo exhibition dedicated to the painter and her work in 1988. The woman artist presented her works of art at the Centre Pompidou in Paris on three different occasions: at the exhibition Paris – New York in 1977, at the exhibition Paris – Paris, Créations en France 1937 – 1957 in 1981, and finally at the exhibition Les années 50 in 1988.
